For the most part, your clients just don't get it. You did a great job for them. You saved them or earned them a lot of money. You delivered excellent service. And all they could think to do was to pay your fees.
Did they refer their friends? No. Did they rave about you to their colleagues? No.
It's beyond reproach.
Maybe you have particularly ungrateful clients. Or maybe, out of all the people you could have attracted to you, you had the misfortune of garnering the clueless ones.
Or maybe you didn't ask them for referrals.
If that's the case, then give your clients a break. It's not their responsibility to take the initiative when it comes to growing your business.
