Throughout the US, Americans are either celebrating or mourning this week's election results. (I have yet to encounter anyone who is indifferent.) Like most of the country, your clients did not anticipate Trump's win and now they must consider how his presidency may impact their industry and, more specifically, their business. This is an excellent time for client outreach. Your communication will be timely, relevant, and a good reminder that you are looking out for them. It will also help you understand how their needs may change given the new administration.
This is a time-sensitive opportunity. It won't take long for savvy businesses to adapt to the news and adjust their strategies. Their new thinking may include a lesser need for your services than you would like if you just wait to see where the chips fall. But if you call your clients while they are still formulating, position your services proactively, and help them to navigate the new landscape, you can turn the election news into a boon regardless of your politics.
