CLE for Legal Marketers?

Written by David Ackert | Jul 9, 2015 7:52:01 PM

The demands on legal marketers seem to escalate every year. Aside from the intrinsic challenge of coaching lawyers, marketers must also find ways to differentiate their firms in an increasingly competitive business environment. Then there’s keeping up with evolution. It seems like every week there is a new study to digest, technology platform to consider or article to read. And because professional development is limited to either self-study, the grapevine, or the takeaways offered at the last LMA event, legal marketers often find themselves with uneven skill set.

Lawyers use CLE to keep abreast of the latest developments in their field. Now law firm professionals can do the same with BDI.

The Business Development Institute is a comprehensive educational program for the professionals charged with helping lawyers increase originations. BDI is a 3-month remote training course that provides the essential skills needed to transition from a marketing focus to a more business development oriented role. Participants will actively engage in a series of webinars and roundtables covering topics ranging from effective lawyer coaching to bolstering the business strategy at the firm. The program concludes with an alumni networking event that offers all BDI graduates the opportunity to develop a peer network and take advantage of a discussion forum for sharing best practices.

The faculty includes a CMO, two consultants, and a practicing lawyer. A certificate of completion is provided to those who complete all 5 sessions. We provide recordings of all of the sessions in case of schedule conflicts.

For those already registered, we look forward to beginning in 2 weeks.  And for those who have not registered, please visit https:www.ackertadvisory.com/bdi/ to learn more or simply click below to reserve your seat.
